Yes SUN22 is here. So now is the time to start sorting through your portfolio, or maybe even shooting something new specifically for the competition.

The format for the main awards is the same as in previous years.
Three categories 1) Best Image 2) Best Use of an Image 3) Best Promo of a Photographer.
The 50 top images from Best Image category appear in the book, plus winners from the other two categories.

Call for Entries opens on 1st MAY
and runs until 21st JUNE

NEW Competition for STILLS VIDEO

There’s a lot of excitement about Stills photographers using the HD capability in their stills cameras to produce commercial work.
Photographers are finding it can mean more opportunities and more work.

So we will be launching SUNSCREEN (currently a working title) a little later in the year.

The competition will be for Stills Photographers working with Video on Stills cameras, within the disciplines of Advertising, Editorial, Design and Fashion.

No dates are being announced just yet, but keep an eye on our emails.

SUNRISE
Our competition for upcoming new professional talent comes back for a second year. Open to New Professionals and Assistants who have not entered the main SUN Awards previously.
The SUNRISE call for entries will open in the first week of July.
